The Project

The project goal was to create a collection of packaging that consisted of a mix of containers.

Project Goal

Usually things such as skincare and cosmetics are targeted towards women but I wanted to create skincare packaging to be more targeted to all people because we all have skin! I didn’t want sharp or jagged edges on shapes and also didn’t want colors such as a bright red which could be connected with irritating or warning signals.

Results and Reflection

Overall the project was cohesive in the products looking like they belong in the same product line. The colors are light and playful which may have made them come across as more feminine. I think that if i used a more clay color instead of a salmon, the coloring would be more gender neutral.
